Music for 24th Sunday OT, 13th September 2020

Here’s the music for this week.

Recordings of Dum clamarem: most available YouTube recordings are a tone lower than we will sing it. These are the best ones I could find at the correct pitch. Note that the first recording has a couple of minor notation differences: Dominum (first line), and humiliavit (third line).

Recording of Alleluia : Te decit hymnus. This recording is at the right pitch, but note that he pulses repeated notes.

Recording of Communion: Passer invenit sibi domum. This is the correct pitch, but note again that the repeated notes are pulsed.

I've been a member of St Mary of the Angels choir since August 2019. When I joined, I literally could not sing a note. Thanks to the persistence of our music director, Robert Oliver, I can now sing several notes in a row. On a good day.
